Candidate even they don’t really want to vote for. And it is just about his age - older than any other president. I think most of them think Joe’s done a good job on whole, but the fact is he’s not a very good candidate anymore. He was never the greatest candidate, and now everything from his diction to his gait screams feebleness.

So, even though I confess I have trouble seeing a way to move to another candidate without fracturing dem support, truth is it does feel like any moderate dem without that feebleness would be mopping the floor with this repub party, which is hell bent on demonstrating its lack of interest in governing on an hourly basis. That is on the dems.

I think polls are deeply flawed this far out, so who knows? Polls have become much more suspect than they used to be - I really think the Va elections Tuesday might be a good gauge of Trumpistan’s chances next year. But either way, ironically, the best result for dems might be for Joe to step aside over the next 2 months, maybe due to the Hunter baggage (strain on his son and his family).

Tbh, I think Joe himself would look back on that as his best decision in a few years.
